The HIROSHIMA Sublimation Tester is used to determine the resistance of the colour of Textiles of all kinds and in all forms to colour change, and colour transfer when subjected to hot pressing. Tests are given for hot pressing when the fabric is Dry, Damp and Wet. The textile end use usually determines which tests should be made. |

DRY Pressing : The dry specimen is pressed with a heating |

device of a specified temperature, time and weight. |

DAMP Pressing : The dry specimen is covered with a wet, undyed cotton cloth and pressed with a heating device of a specified temperature, time and weight. |

 |
WET Pressing : The dry specimen is covered with a wet, undyed cotton cloth and pressed with a heating device of a specified temperature, time and weight. |
|
|
|
The instrument is provided with controlled conditions of dry heat and pressure of 8.8 gm/cm2 or 9.0 gm/cm2 or 40 gm/cm2 with top and bottom heated surfaces, individual temperature controller and individually carefully controlled top plate weights. Temperature Range 1000 to 2300 C.
