To determine the degree of color transferable from the surface of coloured textile materials to other surfaces by rubbing in dry or wet condition.
“HIROSHIMA” CROCKMETER is a simple to use, Robust instrument reciprocating rubbing motion, simulating the action of a human finger and forearm provided which is a unique specimen holder which ensures correct presentation of sample to peg. It is fitted with an A.C. geared motor running 60 RPM and connected to a Digital Counter. The fabric is to be placed over the emery paper provided on the platform and fastened by the means of specimen holder. After completion of rubbing to and fro in a straight line along a track 10 cm long (10 times to and fro in 10 seconds). Access the STAINING of rubbing with the help of a Grey Scale. |
